There's another one. And I don't want to scare anyone, I am just sharing my traumatic experience. My dog began having bathroom difficulties. Her anus was contracting a bunch when she would try to go and I didn't know why. I tried to call the vet and I explain when she went to the bathroom it came out solid, but then she'd end up having a little bit of loose stool. But I didn't describe it properly. I didnt think until later to explain about her anus constricting. So she has been having difficulty peeing and pooping whereas she never had a problem before. Well I'm afraid I found out why. A botfly must have gotten to her because I just saw two hours ago around 2am that she has maggots in her vulva. To me this is one of the worst possible things that could occur. And I guess I just want to warn other that this could be why a vulva is swollen also. If she hadn't had a slight redness outside the area and had they not come out I may not have realized it til too late. Thankfully they are still small. But still doing damage. I'm terrified.

My dog was spayed for a long time. I notice a lump in her nipple took her to the vet. Next thing surgery to remove and biopsy mass. Just two day after 8 days after surgery. It came back as breast cancer stage 3 supposedly aggressive!! I have been crying for two straight day. She is 9 years old, 8 pds yorkie mix & get her teeth clean ever 6 mths. I feed her rice and chicken or farm fresh food or royal Caine nothing with corn.. Is there a way of healing naturally. My mom died from pancreatic cancer and then went on remission for a whole year. I know how hash chemo was on her weak body. 1 year later it spread like wild fire. Please any advice?

Going through this now our 10 yr old Rottweiler developed a tumor and had to be put to sleep 6 days ago I came home without her and it’s like the other dog the mastiff switched off,,,,,don’t eat play or interact with the dogs that came after,,,,,I took her out on her own for one hour to the beach and that perked her a bit, she ate being handfed but a couple days later back to just want to sleep again

Wow thank you for this information! I always assumed that dogs would instinctively know if something was good or not good for them :( but I’m happy that you’re bringing this to light. I know that I live out in the countryside and there’s a lot of ponds creeks ( the lake isn’t there anymore) around and yes my dog does like to dive into them and he does drink from waterways and I never really knew if was okay or not? But thank you I’ll definitely make a note of that.
